Board Members

John Harris, President
John Harris is the owner of Harris Financial Group, a financial management firm located in Sherwood, Oregon. John holds an MBA and is a Certified Financial Planner with 26 years of experience. Licensed as a Registered Principal, he is a branch manager with LPL Financial Services and an arbitrator with FINRA, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. John is married to Wendy Harris, a Certified Public Accountant. They have one daughter, Morgan.John has been an active member of the association since 2007. Initially he was a member of the Transitional Advisory Committee and then elected to President of the association in 2007. Along with the other members of the board John continues to address the challenges of the community.

Richard Marks, Senior Vice President
Richard Marks is the President & owner of Pacific Industries, Inc., a group of companies involved in the wholesale distribution of cargo control equipment and power transmission components in North America. Beginning in 1985, the companies have grown to include 5 warehouse distribution facilities in the United States and Canada. Previously working for the Zidell Companies as a mechanical engineer, Richard was involved with international technical equipment procurement. Richard graduated from Oregon State University in 1974 earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering.Richard has been involved with the Estates as a member of the Transitional Advisory Committee as well as the Board of directors since 2007. Richard has served as treasurer and is currently the secretary of the association. In addition to his other duties he is responsible for the water delivery system and water right.

Mike Benner, Vice President

Mike and his wife Suzanne are owners of Monje Exports.  Monje Exports provides building materials to the Pacific islands, American Samoa and the Philippines.  Mike holds a BA in business.

Mike and Suzanne have two children, five grandchildren and their Cocker Spaniel Sami.  Mike has been Chairperson of the PMVE Architectural Review Committee since 2009.  Mike is concerned about keeping our community in harmony with the natural beauty around us.

Michael Hass, Website Chairman

Michael is an e-commerce and technology executive with over 14 years of hands-on development and leadership experience. A native of Canada, Michael has a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Computer Technology Degree. He has focused his career on improving business and technology processes towards increased efficiencies and yielding better results

In 2009 Michael founded PDX Enterprise Solutions, an electronics payments processing company, with a goal to assist businesses improve their bottom line through cost savings and improved operations with respect to accepting and moving money. Michael and his wife, Erica, moved to The Estates in 2010. With his extensive technology background, Michael assists the board in managing the website and Facebook fan page.
